These special columns are optimized for the simultaneous analysis of 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone (DNPH)-derivatized aldehydes and ketones. Aldehydes are subject to regulation and measurement as hazardous air pollutants under the Air Pollution Control Act, Offensive Odor Control Law, etc.
Wakopak® Wakosil® DNPH can separate n- and iso-butyraldehydes, which are difficult to separate with general HPLC columns. It can analyze the same components as those analyzed by GC.
